We are looking for someone to expand our team:
- Front-end Developer
- 40 hours/week
As a Medior Front-end Developer you will be a member of one of our product teams and work in sprints (Scrum) for the next deliverable. You’ll need to make sure the margins, paddings, whitespaces, alignments, animations and user experiences are top notch. You’re the one who will start to have seizures behind your desk when something is not aligned properly. Thus it will be expected of you to be part of the design process along with our designers, to help them design new features using Adobe software and to be able to develop the result into a working feature or even product. This means that the emphasis of your role in the team is on realising design witch code, not hardcore Node.js programming (would be nice). Though you should be able to make anything work on the front-end, given enough time.
We work on an open source stack and incorporate a wide variety of cutting edge technologies. Therefore you will work in a variety of languages and environments; mainly with HTML5, CSS3, ES6, Vue.js, Grunt., secondly with MySQL, Google Cloud, XSLT, .NET Core. To handle all of this most of our developers make use of WebStorm, PhpStorm or Intellij IDEA. Daily work will vary from maintenance and solving bugs to adding new functionalities. To ensure high quality of the deliverables our teams uses Continuous Integration with TeamCity.
Once you’re settled in you can start to own your own products. Decide on your own technologies. Get the time to make your projects perfect. Work along with Github communities. Go to React/ Vue conferences, you name it.
Note: you will work on websites, services and applications. Not on games. If you’ve ambitions to be a game developer, then this is not the application for you. If you like Dalles Fuel or London Spitfire, then we could make an exception.
